Being good-looking the older men, named “wolves”
will fight over him. He will share a cell with one of
these men. The odds against him becoming a cell-
mate of someone who fails to indulge in abnormal
practices are 99 to 1 against him.

Soon after he’s been squared away, Mariois going
to have to decide what he’s going to do. He risks
rape if he protests, the enmity of other inmates if he
squeals and registers a complaint with the warden.
~ The very nature of prison life, its code of men
against authority, will make the decision for him.
