in time and a continual renewal by contact with the
source which lies outside time. Every traditional
doctrine is by definition immutable in essence but its
formulation may be renewed within the framework of
the given ““conceptual style ’—and so on the basis of
the constants of the tradition—in relation to different
possible modes of intuition and according to human
circumstances.
