come the low conception rate at the first oestrus.

The overall results with regard to oestrus synchronisation are
very similar. Therefore, when it is possible to use the ram effect, do
so, bearing in mind that this will only be possible for 2 to 3 weeks of
the year, It would be necessary to determine when this period of tran-
sition between anoestrus and oestrus occurred in a particular flock in
order to make use of the effect of introducing the rams on ovarian
activity in the ewe.
