obtained by using 1.6 or 1.7% eosin yellowish was found to be sta-
tistically insignificant, while the difference in case of the
other concentrations was significant (P 0.01).

6.A significant negative correlation (r=-0.857) was found between

concentration of the stain and the percentage of live sperm.

Consequently 1.6-1.7% eosin yellowish can be considered as
those concentrations which can lead to a more or less isotonic

solution of the stain, suitable for evaluation of buffalo semen.
