3) The students or the teacher will also make a list of pictures to be
taken (or menus or other artifacts to be collected) as students travel
the neighborhoods. Students should be encouraged to think about
and plan ahead for the kinds of pictures they will take and the peo—
ple they will talk to based on their initial Internet-based research
on the neighborhood. They should be ready to explain and justify
their decisions to the rest of the class after discussion within their
groups. For example, students could take pictures of the following:
