Learn that transportation can take on different forms (e.g., trans—
portation via land, water, or air) depending on function, one’s re—
gion, and other factors.

Inspire students to appreciate the inventiveness of people in mov—
ing and carrying people and things and to want to try to experience
as many different forms of transportation as they can (now and in
the future).

Act by working together with others to create models and collages
of different forms of transportation.

Students will recognize that forms of transportation vary by func—
tion, region, culture, and other factors.

Students will learn the meaning behind different types of road signs
(including how they may vary by region, country, and language but
also how these signs can be helpful even when they don’t know the
language of the country the signs are in).
