The next President made this statement while speaking at a meeting of Ancon Lodge No. 1108, Loyal Order of Moose, while he and Joseph Chappie, of Boston, Mass., editor of the National Magazine, and both brothers, were guests. President-elect Harding told the. Panama Brothers of the time he was initiated into the Moose and the interest it has held-for him since. He told them of the children of MOOSEHEART and with bowed head stood at the hour when the children of MOOSEHEART went to bed. J. P. Greening, Secretary of the Lodge, writes, “The Ancon Lodge sent wireless greetings to Brothers Harding and Chappie. They were met at the boat by a committee from the Moose Lodge, and were entertained. “The Lodge hall was packed to capacity and rubber walls were needed. Every member just wanted to shout to the whole Isthmus of Panama that he was proud of being a Moose. The Loyal Order of Moose meeting was the only fraternal meeting the President-elect attended during his five-day stay on the Isthmus of P-anama. “Words cannot tell of the great and good effect this had on the residents of the canal zone. Brother Harding stood in our Defending Circle and stated to every member of the Lodge: “ ‘Brothers, I am proud to he with you tonight; proud that I am a brother member of our great fraternal Order.” “The news that President-elect Harding attended the Moose meeting spread like wild-fire all over the Isthmus. The Lodge acquired great prestige and it seems that everybody on the Istmus of Panama wants to join the Order. The day after the meeting 350 men applied for membership. Where Will You Be? A national hank has compiled statistics which show that, 40 years hence—Out of every 100 healthy men now 25 years old— 36 will be dead, 1 will be rich, 5 will be working to support themselves, and 54 will be dependent upon relatives, friends or charity. Forty years hence! Sounds unbelievable, doesn’t it? Yet is is proved by the records of one of the biggest, most reliable banks in the middle west. Big life insurance companies, which have experts who figure accurately the life expectancies, of people, furnish statistics which prove substantially the findings above. The average man does not think often enough, or seriously enough, about his future and the future of his children. MOOSEHEART is the only place in the world which assures a man that if death takes him, MOOSEHEART will take his children. We are also working to make Mooseheart Service permanent by establishing a $10,000,000.00 Endowment Fund. Five dollars makes you' a foundation builder. Read page 16, and for the sake of the children become one of the charter certificate holders. He who passes out to the world a counterfeit life gets paid for it in counterfeit money. I believe in helping my brother man and my sister woman, but when we help children help themselves we are making a permanent contribution to the happiness and progress of the world.—James J. Davis. INTER-RAILWAY DEPT. 80 INDIANAPOLIS, IND. M E I was badly ruptured while lifting a trunk several years ago. Doctors said my only hope of cure was an operation. Trusses did me no good. Finally I got hold of something that quickly and completely cured me. Years have passed and the rupture has never returned, although I am doing hard work as a carpenter. There was no operation, no lost time, no trouble. I have nothing to sell, but will give full information about how you may nd a complete cure without operation, if you write to me, Eugene M. Pullen, Carpenter, 58G Mar-cellus Avenue, Manasquan, N. J. Better cut out this notice and show it to any others who are ruptured—you may save a life or at least stop the misery of rupture and the worry and danger of an operation.—Adv.
