Mooseheart Legion For Men and Women (Continued from page 7) will be one of the very best chapters of the Women of Mooseheart Legion, because the prospects for growth there are exceptional. has been given an open charter in order that they may make just as much progress as possible relative to bringing in new members. Missoula, Mont., Chapter No. 243, recently held a big initiation with 41 candidates. Deputy Grand Regent Mrs. Grace M. Hall was visiting the Missoula Chapter at that time and conducted the initiatory work. Missoula Chapter is growing very rapidly and the prospects are that it will soon be one of the biggest Chapters in the Western states. Canton, 111., Chapter No. 369, which is one of the newer Chapters of the Legion, held a bazaar on April 29th, 30th and May 1st. A fine program was rendered consisting of music and various other things, and a general good time was had by all who attended. Elkins, W. Va., Chapter No. 363, which was just instituted in February of this year, has made one of the most rapid growths of any of the Chapters in the Legion. It will be interesting to notice the increase made by this Chapter within the next three or four months because the members of that organization are very anxious to show as large a membership as possible within the very near future. Deputy Grand Regent D. C. Huff of Progress Legion No. 62, instituted a new Chapter of the Women of Mooseheart Legion at Binghampton, N. Y., recently. The new Binghampton Chapter has prospects of being one of the biggest chapters in New York state. Sioux Falls, S. D., Chapter No. 387, was instituted very recently, and later the Chapter held a very interesting meeting with Mrs. Maude Wallace of MOOSEHEART, who is a matron at the school. Norfolk, Va., Chapter No. 157, visited the Phoebus, Va., Chapter and conferred the work for the Phoebus Chapter. The Norfolk Chapter is rendering the ritualistic work in excellent style and is practicing more and more in order that they may visit other Chapters to assist in exemplifying the ritual. At the time this magazine goes to press arrangements are being made for a new Chapter to be instituted at South Bend, Ind. There is reason to believe that this South Bend Chapter Indianapolis, Ind., Chapter No. 11, is _ growing very rapidly. Although this Chapter has already been of great size, the membership of the L. O. O. M. in Indianapolis has increased so much that the opportunities for growth in the Women’s Chapter has increased accordingly.
