Sections 17 to 20 and the Directions of January 31, 1918, are retained. (B) Exporters’ Services. Sections 21 to 24 of the Directions of January 31, 1918, are retained, with the insertion of the following sub-section to Sec. 23: “This charge* shall he paid over' by the exporter to the owners of the collieries, coke-ovens or patent fuel works from which the fuel is shipped, less 6d. per ton to be retained by the exporter.” (25) Payment shall be cash against bill of lading in London. If credit is mutually arranged, interest shall be charged at not less than 1 per cent, above Bank of England rate. (C) Applications for Export Licences. Section 26 of the Directions of January 31, 1918, remains in force. ______________________________________________________ * Brokerage on freight. Part IV.—Sales for Shipment to Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Holland, and Spain. (4) Prices. (27) (u) Except as provided in Part VII., in no case shall coal, coke-oven coke or patent fuel be delivered after October 27, 1918, for shipment to the above destination at prices less than those specified in Sche- dule B appended thereto; nor shall coal for the manu- facture in the United Kingdom of patent fuel for ship- ment to these destinations be delivered at prices less than those specified in Schedule B with the addition of 6d. per ton. (See also Section 39.) Sections 28 to 31 of the Directions of January 31, 1918 are retained. (B) Exporters’ Services. Sections 32 to 35: See Sections 21 to 24. (C) Payment. Sections 36 to 38 are identical with Sections 25 to 27 of the Directions of January 31, 1918. f t Messrs. C. J. Hambro and Son’s representative in Reykjavik, are appointed to act as the agents to H.M. Government in Iceland. (39) (a) In the case of all cargoes of coal, coke-oven coke and patent fuel for export to Denmark, a charge of 15 kr. per ton shall be paid by the buyer to the agent of H.M. Government in Copenhagen, in addition to the f.o.b. price, exporter’s commission and broker- age charge receivable by the exporter or the owner of the colliery, coke-ovens or patent fuel works. (5) The charge of 15 kr. per ton is to be separately specified in quoting to buyers and is not to be included in the amount specified in the telegraphic notification of loading or the invoice forwarded to the Board of Trade, but will be added by the Board of Trade when arranging for payment by the buyer. (c) This section shall not apply to shipments under contracts made with buyers abroad before October 15, 1917. (D) Applications for Export Licences. Section 40 is the same as Section 26. Part V.—Sales for Shipment to other Destinations Outside the United Kingdom. (A) Prices.
