August 23, 1918. THE COLLIERY GUARDIAN. [supplement PAGE XV.] 419 Coal Saving For Collieries. Refuse Coals. We have had a very long experience in the burning of all kinds of refuse coals as ordinarily thrown away on the tips at the average colliery. In most cases we are able to reorganise a boiler-plant so as to burn these refuse coals. It is hardly necessary to empha- sise the importance of this in these days of high prices and coal shortage. Further, we are prepared to reorganise any boiler-plant entirely at our own expense, and be paid only out of the savings, and we are not interested in the sale of any particular plant, machinery, or appliances. We shall be glad to visit your colliery free of charge to discuss this proposition with you, and to give you our opinion as to the burning of any refuse coals you may have available. We shall be glad to explain our proposition personally or by letter, and are prepared to visit your Colliery free of charge and give you our opinion of the working of your boiler-plant. ^rounlic & (bvirn Jffl., TECHNICAL CHEMISTS & ENGINEERS, SPECIALISTS IN FUEL ECONOMY. 2, AUSTIN FRIARS, LONDON, E.C. 2.
