For Collieries.

On Taking Measurements.

Coal can be saved by more efficient
methods of steam generation, but first
it is necessary to find out what is
the performance of the boiler-plant,
—that is to say, to test it, to take
measurements.

Except in few rare cases, Colliery
boiler-plants are not being run on
the lines of exact measurements, and
this is one of the reasons we can
reduce the coal bill of the average
Colliery plant 20—40 Z-

We are ready to make a complete
investigation of the working of any
Colliery boiler-plant, including the
determination of the amount of steam
produced and the coal burnt, and the
complete chemical . analysis of the
coal, flue gases, and boiler-feed water
and other data necessary, so as to
arrive at the nett working efficiency.

We are then prepared to carry out the
reorganisation of the boiler-plant to
obtain the maximum efficiency and to
be paid entirely on results.

We shall be glad to explain our
