Overwinding.

The cleverest engineer may miscalculate at times. Then comes the sudden
call upon the brakes. Will they fulfil the extra duty they are called upon
to perform ? If they are lined with Ferodo fabrics they will. Wood
blocks often fire and fail. Ferodo fabrics will exert the maximum braking
power immediately. They have a much greater durability than metal or
wood and do not spark or carbonise.
