November 22, 1918. THE COLLIERY GUARDIAN. [supplement PAGE XVII.] 1111 COAL SAVING BY SCIENTIFIC METHODS IN gj THE. BO1LEP HOUSE gj The Amount of Saving. The average efficiency of colliery boiler-plants to-day is only about 50 .1, whereas for all the other industries of the country the figure is about 60X. We can reorganise your boiler- plant to run on from 65 □ to 75 °/a efficiency, representing a saving of 25 X to 35 % in average cases. We are prepared to undertake this work for you for (1) a fixed fee : (2) a percentage of the profits for 12 months only: (3) a percentage of the profits for a fixed period to be agreed upon on the understanding that we provide all the capital for the reorganisation. We shall be glad to explain our proposition personally or by letter, and we are prepared to visit your colliery free of charge, and give you our opinion of the working of your boiler- plant.
