The London coal market shows very little change. The pressure for supplies, both household and manu- facturing qualities, continues strong. Prices are unchanged. Newcastle quotations are very strong—best steams touching 60s. for neutral shipment. Durham gas coals also have reached a high figure. Despite better weather, the demand in Lancashire is so pressing that merchants express anxiety regarding supplies. Yorkshire prices are firm, and nuts, slacks and smalls are in great request.
