V-shaped Brakes.

These are a source of endless trouble unless lined with Ferodo fabrics. There is
always a difficulty of securing efficient working owing to the great heat generated
and the varying peripheral speeds. These difficulties have been solved by the
use of Ferodo fabrics.

At a large colliery in Scotland where constant trouble was experienced with
V brakes, we fitted Ferodo fabrics over four years ago, and they are still working
efficiently without further trouble.

Ferodo fabrics, owing to their efficiency and durability and consequent immunity
from breakdown, are by far the most economical although they may cost a little
more at the outset. If you have any brake troubles, write us. We can solve them.
