The Danger of Overwinding

of friction, Ferodo fabrics will pull up your engines in less time and with greater
certainty than wood blocks or metal brakes. They permit of faster winding
without the slightest danger.

The adoption of Ferodo brake blocks on the Underground Railways of London
has resulted in the quickening of the service from 4 minutes to li minutes—
convincing testimony of the efficiency of Ferodo linings. If this saving of time
