FAST HEADING WORK

for opening up longwall faces may be done by employing Sullivan Ironclad Headers with long jibs providing your roof is
strong, bottom regular, and coal reasonably free from impurities.

These machines are built with either “ TURBINAIR ” or electric motors, and jibs up to 10 ft. 4 in. may be supplied on
standard machines. This gives an idea as to the strength and power of these coal cutters.

A special self-propelling flitting trolley is supplied so that main and return headings are cut each shift.
