Cheap Steam for Collieries.

What is your steam costing you ? Does it cost you
good marketable coal ? Why consume, under your own
boilers, what you could sell ? “ Bennis ” machine-stokers
burn successfully low grade fuel, and keep clear, strong
fires, consuming all smoke in the furnace so that it is
arrested on its way to the chimney.

The “ Bennis ” machine-stokers not only burn success-
fully poor quality fuels, but they increase the boiler-duty,
it being frequently possible to reduce the number of boilers
essential under hand-firing conditions, or to raise the output
to equal a greater demand for steam, saving the trouble and
expense of laying down additional boilers.

By means of the “ Bennis ” system of conveying and
elevating, the coal can be raised, distributed and fed to the
stokers, with a minimum of manual labour. Thus the labour
bill is reduced, low grade and unmarketable fuels converted
into profitable steam, boiler duty increased and boiler life
preserved by “Bennis” machine-stokers and conveyors,
which are installed to meet individual conditions.
